Datacard Setup



Setting up datacard is as easy as eating a pastry!
Just plug your datacard to available usb ports and you are done ;P

1. A software (4 eg, mobile partner) that is installed on your data card wil automatically execute. if not then  go into my computer , and there will be a new cd rom . just double click it.
2. Now follow onscreen instructions to complete installation of datacard.
3. Once thats done, start the software.
4. Now you need to configure to connect to the internet.
 method 1:
 a. Goto tools>options>profile management. On right side click "new" , Enter profile name whatever you want,
 b. Select apn as "static"
 c. Enter apn of your ISP (i have provided list of apn below)
 d. Enter access number *99# , username and pass kip blank.
 e. click save
 5. Now select Your profile name and click connect.

Next time when you connect to the internet, you can directly dial the connection from network connections.No need to run mobile partner. Note that , if the software isnt running, u l wont be able to recive calls

 method 2:
 a. Right click My computer>manage>device manager>modems> now double click on your data card.
 b. click "advanced" tab . in extra initialization command field, type  +CGDCONT=,,"APN"  where APN is your ISP's apn (eg  +CGDCONT=,,"bsnlnet" ) click ok
c. Now go in network connections, create a new dialup connection with phone number as *99# ( keep username pass field blank)
d. Dial the connection!
